Webster Groves Creatives
Webster Groves is home to a large concentration of creative professionals and a growing number of creative-oriented agencies. A few of those creatives thought it would be great if there were a group that facilitated local networking and merry-making. Such a group didn’t exist, so we decided to create one.
We’re calling it Webster Groves Creatives, or WGC for short.
We envision WGC as a vehicle for local creatives to meet and mingle at local events and stay connected online through Facebook. WGC will allow local creatives to make new friends in the industry, network for business opportunities and professional development, and meet local organizations that can benefit from the talents of those who want to give back to the community through their creative talents.
WGC was sparked by conversations among Cory Kleinschmidt (digital marketing), Scott Gericke (graphic design), and Pam Bliss (graphic design), and while we have some ideas of the direction the group may take, we’d love to see the group evolve in an organic way that suits the needs of other local pros.
If you’re in creative fields like those listed below and want to learn more about Webster Groves Creatives, please sign up (it’s free!) and we’ll be in touch with more information soon. And if you would like to join the WGC organizer committee, we’d love to hear from you.
WGC is open to professionals in the following fields who live or work in Webster Groves:
Graphic design, photography/video, illustration/art, marketing/digital marketing, advertising, web design & development, architecture/landscape architecture, creative writing, brand planning, PR, exhibit/environmental design, actors, and musicians.
